Hello !

How did all you guys out there spent your Saturday ? Mine was packed with activities, not much time for a breather ! But it was a well spent Saturday I guess (: I was out since 7.30 am and only reached home around 10.45 pm. No wonder I was feeling so lethargic when I got back home :( I was battling with my eyelids, just to keep myself awake.

Since Chinese New Year is just around the corner, Meridian Junior College had specially organised a Pasir Ris Community Outreach Project to celebrate such a festive season. Different classes were allocated to different blocks around Pasir Ris for door-to-door collection of old clothes which were sold at Elias Mall's Garage Bazaar sale on that day itself. We were suppose to greet, distribute oranges and greeting cards while collecting old clothes from the residents of Pasir Ris.

Here's a glimpse of how the greeting card look like :

I like how they include MJC's logo at the back (:
I purposely took one so that it could be used as a memento when I look back at my JC years !

Anyway, my class was split into pairs, a guy and a girl. We then chose a floor each to do the collection. My pair and I chose the last floor, which is 13 since we felt that it was one of the slackest level :P I am undoubtedly proud of every single one of my classmate ! We managed to cover 5 blocks in a short span of 3 hours (: It's quite unfair though because we were one of the last classes to be dismissed but since it's for the good of the world, oh well. In my opinion, MJC should hold more meaningful events like the one mentioned above, I was glad that I could contribute to the community on an early Saturday morning ^^

Thank you residents of Pasir Ris for donating your old clothes to us (: And continue to support us in the future !

After such a exhausting morning, retail therapy is a must ! More CNY shopping at Bugis Street ! Honestly speaking, I didn't really enjoy it because there were so many people fighting for oxygen with me. It was literally packed like sardines. There isn't even much space to move around.

At least I got some loots from there if not it would just be another wasted trip.
Here's what I got :

1. A Navy Blue Kitty Top
It wasn't in stock the last time I went there, so I felt that I had to grab it before it was gone again !
Hahahahahahaha, shopaholic I am.
It goes well with my newly bought kitty flats right ?

2. Long Sleeve Denim Top
Okay, I know I am slow. It was on trend for a while already, yet I only got it now :3
Oh well, don't want to be mainstream here but still I did :P

Steamboat buffet dinner with my friends after that. Tom Yum and Herbal Chicken (: I find that it's a great way to actually have a good talk with your fellow mates, a good place to chill and eat at the same time !

Speaking of food, I need to go prepare myself for dinner with my family !

Till my stomach grumbles and my mouth waters, it's time to bid goodbye !

Drowning Whispers

We hide from mirrors so as to hide from our scars.
We are like roses that have never bothered to bloom when we should have bloomed and it is as if the sun has become disgusted with waiting.
