Here's the promised review on the most hyped up movie in Singapore (:

Ah Boys To Men 2 is a sequel to Ah Boys to Men.
Plot Synopsis :
After his recovery and realization of his mistakes, Ken (Joshua Tan) returns to Tekong Island to continue his Basic Military Training (BMT). Determined to change, Ken prepares to prove himself.
However, this change in attitude from Ken, immediately draws the dislike and mockery from some of his Section mates led by Lobang (Wang Wei Liang). They feel that he is following after Wayang King's (Maxi Lim) footsteps, just trying to flatter the commanders so that he can stand out. Ken tries to explain but to no avail Instead, their misunderstandings deepen as the training continues. At the same time, IP Man's (Noah Yap) girlfriend left him for another guy. Unable to contain his anger, IP Man seeks help from Lobang and his Section mates to hatch a plan for revenge on his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend.
The new boyfriend immediately informs his gang, and quickly locate Lobang and the Section mates at their usual place where they will have dinner before booking in. A fight broke out. Wayang King was the first to escape, while Ken hesitated, but eventually stayed behind to defend his Section mates.
When questioned by the Commanders, Ken defended his actions because he learned that he should "Leave no man behind" and can't just run away. Seeing his Section mates being beaten up, is he wrong to go through thick and thin with them ?
After this incident, what else is in store for Ken ? What punishment will be met out because of the fight ? How will the antagonisms between Ken, Wayang King, Lobang and the rest of the Section mates be resolved ? In such an environment of mutual distrust and sabotage, will they be able to shake hands and work together to face their greatest challenge ?

I absolutely love the part where they were plotting their revenge on IP Man's ex-girlfriend ! They prepared tons of shit and added chilli padi and chilli sauce into the shit that they have prepared. And used those shits to throw at IP Man's ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend ! LOL ! Indeed they have put in all the military training that they have received into plotting this sweet and spicy revenge hahahahaha :D
Then, came the FIELD CAMP ! The commanders and officers actually tried to steal the rifles of the recruits ! Lobang was sorta awaken by the commander trying to steal the rifle from the guy beside him but pretended that he was still asleep. When the commander tried to steal his rifle away from him, he kicked the commander in the face ! The commander even praised him for being alert :P What a loser ! Nicely done Lobang !
MR BROWN APPEARED IN THE SHOW as a reservist officer ~ That part was truly epic ! He got chased by wild boars ! The Section ended up saving his ass even though he was previously being such a bitch to them (: 360 degree change in attitude man and he even offered the Section his bread !
The scene where they had their road march was quite a touching one, I guess. It shows how Ken has really grown from a boy to a true blue Singaporean Men. Ken was reminiscing about the days when he first went into NS. NS really does change a person.
The POP was the grand finale. I might someday be there to witness My Pisces Boy's POP too >.< It marks the end of 9 weeks of BMT.
At the credits part, they showed the respective roles that are posted to the Recruits. Lobang was posted to OCS ! Can you believe it ? *o*
It's a lighthearted movie definitely worth watching :) It left me in stitches, it's that funny ! I wouldn't mind re-watching it again if I could. I shall rate it 8.5 out of 10 ! Do catch it while it's still on the big screen ~
